Deer are not the only animals carrying ticks. A variety of animals including but not limited to mice, squirrels, chipmunks, raccoons and even birds are known to carry ticks.
Ticks thrive in moist, dark environments such as under leaf litter, shaded wood lines, tall under-maintained turf-grass and wooded lots. There are a number of simple things you can do help control tick habitats such as:
We will not apply a treatment in the rain or if there is a high chance of rain in the forecast.
If it rains within the hour of an application we will come back and re-treat within 24-48 hours.
It is highly recommended that you wait a 24 hour period.
We always remove dogs and kids toys from the area.
If the dog is outside, we will ring your doorbell to see if you are home. If no one is home we will not treat your property and reschedule the application.
We can call you 24 hrs prior to application at your request.
We will post a small yellow sign at the front of the driveway by the road, that will state the date we came along with our name and phone number.
